Lost DPOYs: 1960-1964

The first half of the 1960s still presented very little in the way of defensive stats and measures. So word of mouth, recollections, and the rare journalist who kept track of blocks or steals for an article will lead us to the best of the best from this period.

And just like the 1950s, I’m not out here naming DPOYs for every season. Nor am I naming every great defensive player from this period. Just giving the highlights, y’all.
