I saw him play many games for the Royals in the Rochester War Memorial and Edgerton Park Sports Arena. A complete player in every aspect especially rebounding. Big, powerful and hard to handle. A true Hall of Fame player. Truly one of the saddest stories in all of sports . I have great knowledge of the Rochester Royals 1946-57 NBA. I saw all the Black players come into the league.
